Check out this clip from Nuvo Tv’s Fight Factory featuring the fighters at American Kickboxing Aacadmey (AKA) including the self exiled Josh Koscheck. In the clip, Jon Fitch and Josh Koscheck are at Koscheck’s house and the two are talking about why Kos left AKA in the first place. Kos obviously blames head trainer Javier Mendez.

The crazy thing is that Kos says he hopes “the gym burns to the ground” possibly even with Mendez in it. Those are some harsh words considering Mendez and AKA helped build Koscheck into the fighter he is today. Kos believes though that he helped build Mendez and AKA as much as they helped build him. He may have a point there.

There are so many other notable fighters at AKA which will also be in the cast including former UFC heavyweight champ Cain Velazquez, Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix champ Daniel Cormier, Phil Baroni, and Strikeforce middleweight champ Luke Rockhold. One of the reasons AKA was chosen was because of their talented figthers and strong gym personalities.

Javier Mendez was asked about Koscheck’s comments and admitted that he was at fault for Kos leaving. Shocking, someone owned up to their mistakes! Mendez did not tell Ariel Helwani what the reason was but said we will all find out when the show premieres August 15 at 10pm ET/ PT.
