Maybe Nick Diaz was foreshadowing his exit from MMA when he said he was done with the sport after his loss to Carlos Condit at UFC 143. Today, Keith Kizer of the NSAC confirmed that Diaz’s post-fight urinalysis tested positive for Marijuana. This is the second violation for Diaz which means he will be suspended for a year. Now we know why Cesar Gracie said on twitter that there would be no rematch. Dana White issued a statement saying he was extremely disappointed in Diaz but would accept any punishment the NSAC will impose on Diaz. There is no news on what will happen with Carlos Condit now that the rematch is off. Condit will most likely have to wait to fight GSP at the end of the year unless a fight with Koscheck or another #1 contender materializes.
